Hey! I'm still here. No need to worry. I just didn't update over break. I didn't want to update at home, least the family finds out about my secret hide-away-and-talk-behind-their-backs place. My wonderful dad got me another hard drive for Christmas! He was so excited, I didn't like having to tell him that I had gone ahead and bought another hard drive myself, and that I couldn't fit another one in my tower. So, he bought me Stargate and Andromeda seasons on DVD. Yay!

I got back on the 30th. It was a lot earlier than I had wanted to come back, but at least I got to spend New Years with Jo, Allen, and Liz, and Andy, and everyone else. Heh, I don't think I've seen Andy drunk like that before - at least I hope he was drunk when he kissed Grote.

Classes have started. I'm such a slacker. I still don't have my books yet. I mean, I haven't needed them, so what's the rush? I ordered one of them on ebay, the seller was really nice. We've been having some weird problems with our internet lately - most sites come up, but a few won't ever show. I got them to show when I disconnected the router this afternoon, after talking with microsoft online for too long. But when I reconnected it they didn't show. Quite odd. I don't think the linksys router has anything blocked. In fact, I know we didn't block anything. It was working fine before the break. How odd. Anyway, I've determine that no matter how mind-numbing the hold music at Microsoft is, it's a lot better than that at Linksys. Linksys is silent for several minutes, then has a few very loud beeps that rip your ear-drums out, then sometimes very quiet opera, then more silence, then more random ear-splitting beeps. I don't even know I'm on hold until I let my guard down and then BEEP BEEP!!. Ahhh! I need to kill something.

Yesturday I saw my first frozen puddle. Yes, I know that's pathetic, but we don't get much of that in California, at least where and when I was there. We had a snowday today! It's been snowing all day. Classes after 12:30 were canceled, which is unfortunate, for my only class today ended at 11:30. Oh well, at least a few of us had a snowball fight outside after class. I would have build a snowman, but the snow wasn't sticky enough. Oh well.
