Yay new hard drive! Took a wile for me to get my machine to recognize it. Damn jumpers, they didn't cable-select, or want slave / master designations. Anyway, now I have a full 222 GB! Yay! Took 75 mins to transfer 80 GB from one to the next, now I have to make sure none of them got corrupted. Thats a long and tedious process. But it'll be worth it. <dances a jig> On a different note, X-Men 2 was really freakin' good! It was a lot better than the first one. Just for the record, Night Crawler realyl kicks ass! We saw a lot more mutants, some just for a little bit. But the normal ones that didn't show were still mentioned, like Gambit (Reme was in the list of mutants on the computer that Mystique hacked into), and Beast (Dr. Hank McCoy gave an interview on TV). Also got tickets for the 10:30 showing of The Matrix: Reloaded on Wednesday the 14th! (It comes out on Thursday for those of you who don't care enough to know that.) I've never been so excited to see a movie in my whole life. Man, The Matrix kicks ass! <revels in the glory of The Matrix. (transcendance)>

I finally applied to some jobs. Clerical / computer repair, and Web Design. Don't know what to expect from these people, don't even know the company names, don't even know if I want a serious job. I'm going to be working a serious job for most of my life, perhaps I should get some experience at Barnes and Noble, or a lower-brow job like that. Well, we'll see what pans out.

What wil we do this weekend? Lisa went home! So much for those wild-night parties and orgies; the guy-to-girl ratio is supposed to be lower, not higher! Matt or Patrick should have gone home, not a girl. Sigh. What to do....

Holy Hard Drive Directive.

I've been talking about it a long time, and I finally did it. I bought myself my birthday present. Yay another hard drive. Its exactly the same as the one I currently have. But hey, 120 gigs is never enough! I was going to buy more hard drives for this tower anyway, it was eventually going to be turned into a server, and I can use the extra space now. Archiving TV shows takes a lot of space! I have about 80 gigs on my machine now, and 80 more on CD.

Complete Shows:

  1. Andromeda
  2. Aquateen Hunger Force
  3. Dilbert
  4. Family Guy
  5. Futurama
  6. Gargoyles
  7. Sealab 2021
  8. Spiderman (the one showed on Fox)
  9. Stargate
  10. The Brak Show
  11. Upright Citizens Brigade
  12. X-Men

Not to mention the unfinished (that I indend to finish):

  1. Daria
  2. Duckman
  3. Farscape
  4. Invader Zim
  5. The Critic

And Those that I want to get going, and to finish:

  1. 7 Days (hint, hint, Chad)
  2. Babylon 5
  3. Simpsons
  4. South Park

If you have any of these that I haven't finished and would like to give them to me, I'd really appreciate it.
If you really want any of these, arrangements can be made for me to transfer them to you. (Contact me as listed on the "contact" page liked to above.)
Yay for archiving!

OFFICIAL RULES OF WTB (white trash ball):

Materials:
Ping Pong Ball
Plastic Cup
Empty table
Two Chairs
Impartial Magistrate
Case of Bud Light (or Jolt soda for those of us who are underage)
Pork Rinds

1. Sit each player in the chair facing each other across a table. Each player will hold a plastic cup.
2. Place a ping pong ball in the cup and use the cup to throw the ball across the table.
3. Take turns catching the ball in the plastic cups until someone drops the ball.

*Ball may bounce off of the wall, table or surrounding chairs, but only once. Ball must not touch players' hands or other body part, floor, etc.
*Judge will determine whether thrown ball was catchable.
*Player must not get out of their chair to catch the ball. If such movement is necessary to catch said ball, then judge will determine said ball to be uncatchable.

Points:
*1 point given to thrower of catchable ball that opposing player misses
*2 points given to a "spectacular" catch - as determined by judge
*When a "rally" occurs - 6 successful transfers in a row without drops on either side - the player who ruins the rally will have 10 points deducted from their score.
*2 points deducted from score if either player has to leave their chair to retrieve the ball. Points deducted from player who either missed catchable ball or threw uncatchable ball.
*5 points added per minute for player who plays game with blood alcohol level exceding legal limit
*Any player who chooses to play game in the buff is declared instant winner. In the instance where both players are nude, then stop playing freaking white trash ball and GET IT ONNNNN.... (unless both players are straight and of the same sex. In that case, both players are instantly disqualified).

Like God, the Magistrate of White Trash Ball is an sovereign and omnipotent ruler. Those players who choose to talk back to the Magistrate will be taken outside and flogged mercilessly.

Okay, so I'm in desperate need of a haircut. So I decide, hey, its Sunday, not much to do, I'll go get a haircut today instead of during the week when I have work to do. So I head out around 4:15, thinking, "hey everyone's open until at least 5, right?" No, the barbershop decided to go to summer hours and close at 4:30. 4:30! Who closes on the half? Ahhhh! Now I have to go on Monday, that'll probably deny me a nap. Oh well, thats what I get for getting up at 2 in the afternoon....

Another day, another lie. Apparently my summer classes are not set in stone, immutable, and all that. Yes, The Bucket has shown me the unmitigated immutable, unadulterated truth! So, I guess I was admitten to UW with an art defiecency that I had to clear up before the end of Winter quarter 2003. Yeah, I totally forgot about / never knew about that. So you Simians almost had me back! I would have been kicked out of school. Sigh, glad I talked to that counselorman. Though I don't really want to ditch Intro to Ethics, I'm going to take The Orchestra, and an Intro to Law class. Blarg.
