I also wanted to point out a big frustration today. I was watching The O.C. tonight (yeah, yeah, I know), and one of the characters said "I A-9 dot com-ed him today..." What the hell? Since when is A9.com a verb? Why couldn't she use a real verb and "google" it? What the fuck? Is this some attempt at a sly marketing gimmick? Is Amazon really that lame? Come on. I used to like you guys. I understand when they have cool bands on it because, those bands are cool, and the need their characters to like them to be cool, but come on. You don't have to say what search engine you use? Something "googled" has become too generic now - it can refer to any search engine (though why anyone would use anything but the best is beyond me). This means they deliberately used something else. How incredibly lame!!
"Though the local rum made my head spin, the lovely women pressed more and more upon me. Their dance, their skin, their flowery perfume all combined to engorge my loins. Oh, yesmany virgins were sacrificed that night. On the altar of my pelvis." - Beck Bristow
